Clarksons to construct and commission OranjeWind wind farm
Clarksons Port Services BV has been appointed to manage construction and commissioning operations for the OranjeWind offshore wind farm in the Netherlands, a 53‑turbine joint venture between RWE and TotalEnergies. Norfolk and Suffolk publish new three-year skills plan
Business leaders in Norfolk and Suffolk have outlined a three‑year Local Skills Improvement Plan aimed at aligning training with real labour‑market demand. The strategy prioritises easier navigation of the skills system, stronger links between education and employers, digital and leadership development, and preparing workers for the region’s expanding energy sector, where major investment in offshore wind and nuclear projects is expected. AI firm opens first office in the region to support its growth
AI consultancy iwantmore.ai has opened its first office at the newly built Stowmarket Innovation Gateway to support its expanding team and services. Co-founder Craig Bird said the site offers strong momentum and access to key skills, partners and clients. Founded by Bird, James Grant and Simon Williams, the firm advises companies on AI governance, strategy and staff training and works with several East Anglian businesses while continuing to serve clients across the UK.

Kingsley Healthcare acquires St George’s Care Home
Kingsley Healthcare has purchased the 55‑bed St George’s Care Home in Milford on Sea as part of a broader expansion strategy along the south coast, following its acquisition of Weymouth Manor Care Home last year.
