Shane Porter, 35, has been charged with murdering 36-year-old Jimmy Ward, who was fatally shot at a Traveller site in Calcutt near Cricklade, Wiltshire, on August 2. Porter also faces a charge of possessing a shotgun without a certificate. Eddie Porter and Tammy Brown have been charged with assisting an offender and the same firearms offence. All three have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at magistrates’ court by video link, while two other men arrested in connection with the case were released on bail.
