Research commissioned by continence-care brand TENA claims bladder leaks are causing many UK women to reduce or abandon sport, with younger women particularly affected. The study reports that 74% of women feel embarrassed by bladder leaks, one in three women leave sport before age 25, and more than 10 million women may be leaving sport early because of the issue. TENA's Pelvic Power Squad, including Olympic medallist Holly Bradshaw, powerlifter Emily Westray and fitness expert Shakira Akabusi, is promoting pelvic-health education, Kegel exercises, exercise adaptations and medical advice as ways to help women remain active.

Fans attending Pitbull’s Hyde Park concert were invited by Fireball Cinnamon Whisky to shave their heads for a prize, with six people opting for permanent baldness rather than wearing bald caps. Alaeddin Alayyan won the top reward, a trip for two to Miami with luxury accommodations and experiences, while other participants received smaller prizes. Fireball described the promotion as a celebration of Pitbull’s iconic bald look.
