Cumberland County District Attorney Sean McCormack says a rise in youth crime is linked to stolen vehicles and vehicle break-ins, some of which lead to firearms being stolen from cars. Harrisburg police recorded 107 juvenile-offender cases in the second quarter of 2026, down from both the previous quarter and the same period in 2025.
