I am a fixer, journalist and media producer based in Warsaw, currently working for BBC News in Poland, where I cover major socio-political and cultural events, translating complex historical contexts for an international audience and supporting foreign correspondents in the field. My role requires a deep understanding of Poland’s political landscape, media narratives, and audience engagement strategies. I coordinate investigative reports, secure exclusive interviews, and provide editorial insights that shape compelling news stories. Working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, I manage logistics, fact-check information, and ensure that ethical reporting standards are upheld. With a strong background in research and multimedia production, I collaborate on projects that bring underreported stories to global audiences. My work reinforces my passion for storytelling that bridges cultural and political divides, ensuring that diverse perspectives are represented in international media.

Yesterday, January 27, 2025, I had the honor of working as a local producer for the BBC during the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. This was an extraordinary event, attended by Holocaust survivors and global leaders, including King Charles III.
Being part of such a significant moment in history was not only a professional milestone but also a deeply personal experience. Ensuring that these important stories reach a global audience required meticulous preparation and dedication, but it was a privilege to contribute to this commemoration.
For three days, I single-handedly produced 24-hour coverage of the floods in Poland for BBC News’ main broadcast, managing everything from editorial planning to real-time execution. I independently shaped the news agenda, identified key angles, secured exclusive interviews, and ensured accurate, up-to-the-minute reporting.
Under intense pressure, I coordinated field correspondents, managed logistics, and facilitated seamless live coverage despite rapidly evolving conditions. I personally verified sources, fact-checked emergency updates, and provided crucial local context to ensure the international audience fully understood the disaster’s impact.
Beyond logistics, I drove the storytelling, pitching compelling narratives, orchestrating interviews with key officials and eyewitnesses, and ensuring BBC’s coverage remained dynamic and authoritative. Balancing speed with accuracy, I played a pivotal role in delivering high-impact journalism that met the highest editorial standards.
