Three in 10 holidaymakers think crisps taste better abroad
A survey of 2,000 adults found strong interest in trying new and unusual crisp flavours while travelling, with three in ten believing crisps taste better abroad due to new flavours, relaxation and sunnier weather. Spain, Italy and France were ranked among the top European destinations for crisp varieties, while the US topped the global list. Travel company loveholidays launched a ‘Crisps From Abroad’ pop‑up in London to showcase international flavours and test visitors’ ability to identify them. Self-described ‘crisp superfan’ Joe Manning took part, highlighting the community of snack enthusiasts who seek out unique flavours abroad.
