Pupils try musical rewrites of environmental measures
Students from 12 Hampshire schools are repurposing damaged musical instruments and recycled materials into 3D artworks exploring themes such as pollution, conservation and waste reduction. The climate-focused initiative, led by Hampshire County Council with support from educational and music services, introduces pupils to circular economy concepts through creative work. The resulting pieces will be exhibited at the University of Winchester’s West Downs Art Gallery from July 14 to 22, highlighting how artistic expression can help young people communicate ideas about environmental responsibility.
