Anesu David Masamvu is a journalist based in Harare, Zimbabwe. 2018 Road Safety Radio Journalist of the Year. On a freelance basis I also work for one of Zimbabwe's largest media conglomerate AB Communications, I do radio stories on a daily basis and I produce one of the hard hitting current affairs show the Platform every Monday and Tuesday 1930hrs (CAT).

I produced that episode for Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa, she is one of the most sort out media practitioners in Zimbabwe. It was a very necessary story to tell that has been affecting the majority of Zimbabweans daily.
This interview features one of Zimbabwe's fastest growing comedians Ray Vines. Freedom of expression has been very contentious in Zimbabwe and I asked him that very question which he gradly answered without 'fear'. Interesting response that he gave.
I'm someone who loves entertainment stories, and recently I've been working on interviews with relevant artists in the growing Zimbabwe arts sector.

Did one of the most influential interviews of 2019 in the Zimbabwe Arts industry with Zim Hip Hop star Ti Gonzi after his unfortunate robbery and life threatening injuries. I followed him up at a local Harare Hospital to understand what he was going through. It has quite some hits on YouTube.
