Soy Angelo Samarawickrema, fotoperiodista/Investigative Journalist con base en Colombo, Sri Lanka. Mi call sign en la Industry es "TheClickmeister or TheOne&OnlyClickmeister." Con más de 25 años de experiencia de campo, he cubierto zonas de desastre de Colombo y alrededor de Sri Lanka tanto durante como después de la Civil War que concluyó en 2009. Habiendo vivido en el Reino Unido durante un período de cerca de ten años, cubrí muchas protestas y otros eventos, desde festivales de música hasta fotografía callejera, que es una pasión: descubrir personas y la expresión de culturas. Pero al regresar a la isla de Sri Lanka en 2005, he logrado trabajar a través de organizaciones humanitarias cubriendo muchas luchas tanto de las condiciones de vida como de la lucha política en la isla hasta la actualidad, participando en la documentación de más de un mes y medio de protestas y muchos choques entre el pueblo y las tres fuerzas. Angelo está actualmente radicado en Colombo y disponible para asignaciones dentro de la isla y en el extranjero, contando con pasaporte activo. Su experiencia abarca tanto detrás de la cámara como delante de ella, reportando in situ durante etapas críticas. Hablo dos idiomas con fluidez y leo y escribo tanto inglés como cingalés y puedo adaptarme a cualquier entorno. Trabajo bien en equipo y también puedo desempeñarme dentro de un equipo. He cubierto eventos tanto en el sector corporativo como privado, documentales de calle, crisis políticas, vigilias y protestas, Film & Theatre y mucho más, y estoy disponible para otros encargos en línea ya que he cubierto algunos proyectos para the Guardian en Londres y también AlJazeera.
