Teen with 'murder bingo card' who idolised killers had 'unhealthy interest' in explosives
An 18-year-old Stafford resident, Jagger Strang, was sentenced to three years and nine months in a young offenders institution after admitting to possessing explosive substances, threatening to bomb Stafford College, and holding materials useful for terrorist purposes. Strang had expressed admiration for serial killers, produced a manifesto suggesting violent intentions, and shared images of homemade weapons. Police discovered gunpowder, thermite, and related instructional materials in his possession. The judge accepted that Strang did not plan to carry out an attack but described him as isolated and troubled, with behavior driven by an obsession with violence rather than radicalization.
