Carolyne Wasonga is fighting for what counts – ending HIV, preventing gender-based violence and empowering young women and adolescent girls. “What I love about my job is that I'm able to change lives. I can't change all of them, but there are a few individuals that I can change,” she says. Through support from the Global Fund, Carolyne and her fellow peer educators will reach 20,000 HIV positive adolescent girls in five countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
