Man uses screwdriver to kill wife and daughter, 7, in horror nursery attack
Nathan Brown, 41, allegedly used a screwdriver to kill his wife, Kristen Brown, and their seven-year-old daughter, Evie, at the Brown family’s daycare in Hopkins, Minnesota, before taking his own life. Police believe he may also have killed a 78-year-old woman in Burnsville earlier that day. A parent discovered the daycare attack after hearing screams; six other children present were unharmed. Investigators have not disclosed a motive, while a letter from Kristen indicated the daycare was closing because of relationship problems with Nathan. The daycare had been licensed since 2019 and had passed state compliance visits.
