During my tenure as a resident journalist at the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation, I have fulfilled the role of a seasoned senior reporter. My responsibilities encompassed conducting on-site investigations and delivering reports in both Amharic and English languages. I engaged in live streaming for radio and television platforms, crafted compelling documentaries, and provided comprehensive feature analyses spanning political, social, and economic domains, among other subjects.

Furthermore, my journalistic journey extended beyond institutional boundaries. As an independent journalist, I amassed a seven-year track record collaborating with government-owned, private, and local radio stations. Notable among these were Bisrat Radio (FM 101.1), Addis Ababa City Radio (FM 96.3), and Wolkite FM 89.2. Within these establishments, I curated and hosted my biweekly infotainment radio program, facilitating discussions on pertinent matters of the time.

Beyond the scope of my journalistic exploits, my proficiency shines in scriptwriting and editing, proficiently reading, honing skills in audio editing, and adeptly producing a diverse array of advertisements. My proficiency in these realms spans over 13 years, underpinning my multifaceted expertise.

Capping my journey, since 2022, I have been an integral part of the Voice of America, specifically within the Horn of Africa Service. This chapter represents yet another chapter in my ongoing commitment to delivering insightful, impactful journalism.
