Kidderminster Harriers began their return to the National League with a 3-0 defeat away to Hornchurch. The hosts scored three times in the first half through Joe Kizzi, an own goal by Angus MacDonald and Makai Welch, leaving Harriers with little prospect of recovery. Manager Paul Wotton made several changes at half-time but his side created few clear chances, while goalkeeper Dave Richards made several saves to prevent a heavier loss. Wotton said the team would need a demanding week on the training ground ahead of Saturday's home match against Eastleigh.
