Ayoze O´Shanahan tiene un degree in Journalism de la University of Wales (UK) y una especialización en Communication and Armed Conflicts de la Complutense University (Spain) de Madrid. Estudió Filmmaking and Screenwriting en la International School of Film and Television, en San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba), y posee un Diploma en Creation Documentary, University of Valle (Colombia). Periodista y fotógrafo freelance muy viajado desde 2001, con excelentes habilidades de redacción y buen ojo para capturar los momentos y las diferentes realidades. Desde que empezó a filmar en 2002, sus historias, documentales y películas han participado en más de 80 festivales de cine y han sido galardonados internacionalmente con 15 premios y menciones de honor.
