Ayoze O´Shanahan est titulaire d'un diplôme en Journalism de la University of Wales (Royaume-Uni) et d'une spécialisation en Communication and Armed Conflicts de la Complutense University de Madrid (Espagne). Il a étudié Filmmaking and Screenwriting à l'International School of Film and Television, à San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba), et est titulaire d'un Diploma en Creation Documentary, University of Valle (Colombie). Journaliste et photographe freelance très voyagé depuis 2001, il possède d'excellentes compétences rédactionnelles et un bon œil pour capturer les moments et les différentes réalités. Depuis qu'il a commencé à filmer en 2002, ses reportages, documentaires et films ont été présentés dans plus de 80 festivals de cinéma, et ont été récompensés internationalement par 15 prix et mentions d'honneur.

CULTIVATING COMMUNITIES is a supplement to the foundation project of the construction and implementation of Early Childhood Development centers financed by Plan International and designed by Active Social Architecture (ASA).
