Utah-based dirty soda chain Swig has signed a six-store franchise agreement with Athena Franchise Group to enter Massachusetts. The first Greater Boston location is expected to open in early 2027, though specific sites have not been announced. Swig, which operates more than 150 locations in 16 states, sells customizable soda-based drinks along with energy drinks, refreshers, hot chocolate and snacks.
