British Military delegation visits the Somaliland Military headquarter in Hargeisa, Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010. The British military contingent will observe Remembrance Day in recognition of those from all sides who have died in conflicts. Somaliland government has accepted a request from the UAE counterpart to have a military base in the coastal town of Berbera. Somaliland's houses of Parliament have also approved. In this report, therefore, i looked its geopolitical, economical and militarily impact of this action on Somaliland and the region at large.
Somali population's life depends on Livestock in many ways including economical income. The main market of Somali livestock is Saudi Arabia, but for the past years they have been suffering from the long lasting droughts that effected both the people and the animal. This report is about how the livestock market has been effected, Somaliland in particular.
