Three men jailed for stealing nearly £1m of Mounjaro in St Albans burglary
Three men were sentenced to five years and three months in prison for stealing nearly £1 million worth of the weight‑loss drug Mounjaro from a healthcare distribution centre in St Albans. They carried out a coordinated burglary, disabling cameras and returning to collect additional boxes before being identified through phone data, CCTV and ANPR. Police later recovered over £60,000 in cash during property raids. Two of the men also received nine‑month concurrent sentences for possessing criminal property. Authorities highlighted the health risks posed by mishandling the drugs and described the burglary as carefully planned.

Court told jail was 'only appropriate sentence' for teen rapists
Prosecutors argued before the Court of Appeal that detention was the only appropriate punishment for three teenage boys convicted of raping two girls after they received non-custodial sentences. The Attorney General contends the original sentences were unduly lenient, while defence lawyers argued the judge properly considered the offenders’ personal circumstances, including neurodevelopmental issues and age. Judges reviewed claims that the sentencing process was flawed, the severity of the offences, and the adequacy of restraining orders, with proceedings set to conclude on Thursday.
