Lyme Regis Bowls Club recorded mixed results during the week. Duncan Knight retained the Pellman Trophy after defeating Karen Hofen, while the men’s Division 1 team lost to Sherborne and the ladies defeated league leaders Sherborne. The Edna Paisley ladies lost to Greenhill B, and the club’s remaining county campaign ended in a narrow defeat at Portland. Portland also won the Lyme Ladies Triples, while Lyme’s top team included Pam Cridge, Lucy Titheridge, Jasmine Bishop and Kay Honey. Mary Haseman’s Lady Captain’s Day raised funds for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
