Brantford Police launch United Against Hate campaign
Brantford Police Services launched the United Against Hate campaign at the Brantford International Villages Festival to explain the difference between hate crimes and hate incidents, how to report them and how police investigate. The campaign addresses bias involving race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age and sex, as well as slurs, insults, bullying and social exclusion. Police have investigated 12 incidents so far this year, compared with 24 in 2025, and are offering multilingual information while emphasizing respectful support for victims and newcomers.
