The Sunu Dem Kanam show takes a more pragmatic approach to tackling Gambia’s economic struggles, one that goes beyond the rhetoric on social media to actually getting first-hand experience of those on the farmyards, schools and the streets, that are working their backs off to contribute to the growth of the Gambian economy. Through investigative reporting, special interviews and live coverage of the respondents will be made at their place of work/business. This will feature revealing facts about their daily activities and the success stories they are making in spite of the challenging environment. Special attention is given to the hardworking women in the society that are making great efforts to provide for their families by putting food on the table and generating money to fund their children’s education.
