The High Court overturned the Parole Board’s decision to release Glyn Razzell, who is serving a life sentence for murdering his estranged wife, Linda, and has never disclosed where her body is. Judge Mrs Justice Cheema-Grubb found him fundamentally dishonest, prone to violence against women and still a danger to the public. Linda’s daughter, Catherine Razzell, welcomed the ruling but said the original decision had weakened her confidence in the parole system and worried that other families might lack the resources to challenge similar decisions. Razzell remains imprisoned but can apply for parole again in the future.
