Tap Sidcup keeps licence despite 'drug-fuelled poker game'
A Sidcup bar facing the loss of its licence over allegations of illegal gambling, drug use and disorder has been allowed to continue operating after Bexley Council cited its recent change of ownership. New owner Daniel Carr, who purchased Tap shortly before the review, said he was unaware of the alleged incidents. Licensing officials and police acknowledged that the risks of repeat issues were greatly reduced under new management. Councillors opted not to revoke the licence, and Carr expressed relief after the decision.
