Kingussie reach fifth successive Camanachd Cup final
Kingussie defeated Skye 4-1 at Bught Park to reach a fifth consecutive Tulloch Camanachd Cup final, scheduled for 19 September in Oban. In the Mowi Premiership, leaders Newtonmore were held 0-0 by Col Glen, while Kinlochshiel beat Fort William 3-1 and Caberfeidh edged Lochaber 1-0. Glenurquhart secured promotion back to the Premiership after a goalless draw at Kilmallie, while Lovat stayed in contention for the National Division title with a 3-1 win on Bute.

Shinty: Skye thump Lochaber in relegation battle contest
Skye moved out of the Mowi Premiership relegation zone with a 7-0 win over Lochaber, helped by defeats for Col Glen and Kyles. Shinty: Kilmallie beat favourites Lovat to lift Ferguson Balliemore Cup
Kilmallie defeated favourites Lovat 4-3 at Spean Bridge to win the Ferguson Balliemore Cup, recovering from a three-goal second-half comeback after leading 4-0. Oban Camanachd and holders Kingussie advanced to the MKM Oban MacAulay Cup final, while Newtonmore extended its lead in the Mowi Premiership with a 5-0 victory. Glenurquhart moved four points clear in the National Division and needs at most three points from its final four matches to secure promotion. Shinty: Newtonmore stretch Premiership lead with win on Skye
