Two wildfires on the Greek island of Salamina spread through Peristeria, Selinia and toward the tourist village of Kaki Vigla amid strong winds. Around 260 firefighters and 10 aerial assets were deployed, while authorities ordered evacuations and rescued 502 people from coastal areas by sea. Police identified 22-year-old Harrun Hassan as the victim of a fatal stabbing on a double-decker bus in Hounslow, prompting the arrest of a man and a woman, both aged 21, on suspicion of murder. Emergency services found Hassan with severe injuries near Heathrow Airport in the early hours of June 25, leading to a major police response and cordon while the investigation continues.
