Two teenagers found not guilty of murdering boy, 14, with sword on the street
A Glasgow jury found two teenagers not guilty of murdering 15-year-old Amen Teklay, who died after being struck with a sword in March 2025. One defendant admitted stabbing Teklay but argued self-defence, while the second maintained he took no part in the attack. Jurors were instructed to consider self-defence, provocation and whether the pair acted together before returning not-guilty verdicts following a trial before Lord Colbeck.
