Grand Tour legend Jeremy Clarkson names the 'stupidest car' he's ever driven
Jeremy Clarkson has called the all-electric Volvo ES90 the stupidest car he has driven, while still awarding it three out of five stars. He praised its interior, colour scheme and rear legroom but criticized the reliance on a central touchscreen for basic functions, the lack of a conventional key and repeated problems with the card-based entry system. Yorkshire Live reporter Christopher Sharp, who also tested the car, shared concerns about its unintuitive controls and lack of physical buttons. The ES90 offers 338bhp, a 92kWh battery and an estimated 398-mile range, but its £77,260 price and usability issues could make it difficult for Volvo to attract customers from established premium rivals.
