Graham Gouldman’s Heart Full of Songs tour stopped at St Peter’s Church in Poole, a striking venue that is emerging as an important mid-sized music space after the closure of Mr Kyps. The 80-year-old songwriter performed with a tight semi-acoustic band, revisiting songs written for artists including The Hollies, Herman’s Hermits and The Yardbirds alongside several 10cc hits and newer material. Highlights included “Bridge to Your Heart,” “I’m Not in Love,” “For Your Love” and “Dreadlock Holiday.” Singer-songwriter Seb Wesson provided well-received support.
