Poole Town suffered their first league defeat of the season, losing 1-0 to Sholing at Tatnam. Harry Taylor scored the winning goal with ten minutes remaining. Poole were awarded a late penalty but Ezio Touray missed, and Owen Dore was subsequently sent off after receiving a second yellow card. Poole will look to recover at home against Basingstoke Town.

Southern League Premier South: Chichester City 1-2 Poole Town
Poole Town began their Southern League Premier South campaign with a 2-1 victory over Chichester City. Charlie Davis opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after a defensive error, and Ezio Touray doubled Poole's lead six minutes later. Chichester improved after half-time and Joe Clarke headed in from a corner in the 82nd minute, but Poole's defence held firm under late pressure to secure all three points. Poole next host Sholing at Tatnam Stadium.

Poole Town have signed 30-year-old midfielder Bradley Tarbuck from Gosport Borough. Tarbuck began his career at Portsmouth, later helping Havant & Waterlooville secure successive promotions and making 194 appearances for Gosport.
