Ann Widdecombe's 'last words' in final message before she stopped answering
Text messages and emails sent by Ann Widdecombe shortly before her death show she was actively arranging media interviews minutes before police believe she was attacked. Her final message was sent at 12:19pm, with unanswered calls beginning less than 30 minutes later. Devon Police have launched a murder investigation and are withholding suspect details and CCTV for operational reasons, saying inquiries are progressing along multiple lines.
