York Christmas Market 2026 Dates Confirmed, With a Weekly Rest Day
York Christmas Market will run from November 12 to December 21, 2026, operating six days a week from Wednesday to Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays will be introduced as weekly rest days in a trial intended to improve access to York city centre and balance the needs of visitors, residents and local businesses.

Scarborough Open Air Theatre 2027 concerts plan as promoter names dream acts wishlist
Planning for Scarborough Open Air Theatre’s 2027 concert season is already well advanced, according to promoter Cuffe and Taylor founder Peter Taylor. He said he would like to book Bruce Springsteen, The Cure, Pet Shop Boys and Take That, while welcoming back Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi and Kylie Minogue. The venue has reported record box-office performance and strong ticket demand during its 2026 season, which includes performances by acts such as Hollywood Vampires and Nile Rodgers and Chic. Further details about the 2027 programme will be announced when available.
