Yann Bigant is an independent photographer, photojournalist and drone operator focusing on conservation and environmental issues in Southeast Asia.

He is committed to stories highlighting the impacts of human activities on wildlife along with more hopeful tales showcasing the dedicated work of Read moreconservationists attempting to stem the tide of extinction. His recent work on the large-scale trade of animals for Buddhist's 'life release' practice was featured on the cover of South China Morning Post magazine.

He studied engineering in France and architecture in China, where he lived and worked before moving to Cambodia. He has been involved in environmental work for more than 10 years, co-organizing a scientific expedition to Greenland, developing conservation projects in Indonesia and communicating on environmental issues for the NGO Naturevolution.

His personal fine art practice explores in sensitive photographs the relationships we develop with remote and overlooked landscapes, and has been exhibited in festivals and galleries.

Marta is a freelance journalist and documentary filmmaker covering Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. She has been based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, since 2012 but her work often takes her to neighbouring countries and to Poland, where she was born and lived until 2001.

Her work has been published Read morein The Guardian, where she is a contributor, Al Jazeera, Newsweek, Vice, Southeast Asia Globe, Voice of America and South China Morning Post, among many others.

Marta’s investigations took her into the heart of one of Poland’s most notorious far right groups; saw her hang out with employees of a multinational company linked to a banned sect promoting polygamy in Malaysia, where she also exposed the practice of female genital mutilation; led her to highlight the plight of Nigerian football players trafficked to Cambodia.

When not working as a journalist, she produces and shoots videos for private clients and non-profit organizations. Some of her clients include: the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Cambodia (UN OHCHR), World Wildlife Fund (WWF), SNV Development Organization, People in Need, RightBrain Foundation and Momentum.Travel.

A human rights lawyer by education, Marta worked as a legal advisor and researcher for non-governmental organizations in the UK, India and Cambodia, before turning to journalism. She specialises in women’s rights and corporate-related human rights abuses.

She is a member of Ruom, a Cambodia-based collective of journalists passionate about social reportage and is the co-founder of Turren, a video production company making pretty awesome videos.

Marta is bilingual, fluent in English and Polish, with very strong French and German. She is available for freelance assignments worldwide.

I’m a documentary cinematographer and director with a focus on creating character-driven and investigative documentaries that shed light on important human rights and environmental issues within the Southeast-Asian region.

My latest film “The Clearing” follows a group of young environmentalists in Read moreCambodia as they prepare to face imprisonment for their advocacy work. I’ve also worked on a range of investigations, from exposing the connections between major fashion labels and deforestation, all the way to documenting illicit fishing off the Cambodian coast. 

Over the last seven years in Asia, I’ve worked on documentaries for the BBC, CBS, South China Morning Post, American Broadcast Company, Insider, and Mongabay and my stills have also been published by The New York Times, dpa, and Coda Story.  I often collaborate with non-profit organizations too, including Human Rights Watch, Global Witness, Equitable Cambodia, and Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust.

Lucky enough to call Cambodia my home for the past five years, I am not only based here, but also open to traveling both regionally and worldwide for assignments. I speak Khmer comfortably and have years of experience shooting in remote environments.

Sodavy is a journalist based in Cambodia. 
Sodavy graduated with her Masters’s degree from Rutgers University in Global Affairs. From her work as a writer and researcher on genocide in Cambodia, she sees this work as necessary to her society and people. So, she decided to pursue a career as a Read morejournalist after graduating in May 2023.
Sodavy has been instrumental in writing the stories of hundreds of survivors of the Khmer Rouge, published in both Khmer and English for local and international news. She has been a writer with the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) for about ten years. This has encouraged her to continue her work as a writer to bring the story of what is happening in Cambodia to the whole world, whether the past or the present, for her Cambodian people. She believes that doing so is the key to contributing to peace and development in Cambodia.

Hailing from the Italian Alps, Thomas Cristofoletti has been working in Southeast Asia as a humanitarian photographer and videographer since 2012.

Based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, he’s also the co-founder of RUOM, a collective of journalists specializing in social reportage throughout Asia.
