Since the year 2010, I started my career as a photojournalist covering Read morepolitical events, the democratic movement in Egypt, the Egyptian revolution, and the conflicts that followed it from 2011 to 2014.

In 2012, I started to focus more on economic and social rights issues, and I started to work on documentary photography projects at [ECESR] Egyptian center for economic and social rights, those projects covered social justice, housing, and environmental rights those projects were published in ECESR research publications.

People are natural storytellers, the more I listen to people's stories and their suffering, the more I am drawn to making documentaries.

I started my filmmaking career with ECESR as well, 
I worked on documentary projects, like [Ramlet Bulaq, The other Egypt, and El-Max], In addition to a number of video reports covering the labor, economic and social movement in Egypt.

In Korea, I started working at "MWTV" as a photojournalist and content creator, through my work there I covered tens of migrants workers' activities and conditions, Furthermore, I made reports about the refugees' situation in Korea and covered many stories like [Meet Azza] and The Unremembered Refugees.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with UNHCR, and filmmaker Paul Wu to work on the “Belonging” film project.

Hwawon Ceci Lee is a bilingual video/photo journalist and multimedia producer based in Seoul, South Korea. Her work spans international news, documentaries, and corporate media, with credits including camera operation for BBC News, photography for EBS global documentary festivals, and production of Read morecorporate videos. 

Hwawon has also contributed as a news researcher and producer for major Korean networks KBS and JTBC, bringing a unique blend of global and local perspectives to her projects. Her versatility extends to creative roles as an assistant director for music videos and contributions to art poster design. Specializing in capturing South Korea's vibrant art, contemporary dance, and music scenes, she offers clients high-quality visual content enhanced by deep local insights and international media expertise. 

With experience living in Berlin, she also speaks some German, further broadening her cultural understanding and communication skills.

Junhyup Kwon is a journalist based in Seoul, South Korea. Kwon has been reporting on East Asia, with a special focus on North and South Korea, for both print and digital media since 2016. Jiyong Hyun is a journalist based in Seoul, South Korea.

I am a correspondent for UPI currently based in Seoul, South Korea, covering politics and news on the Korean peninsula. Yumi Jeung is a journalist based in Seoul, South Korea.

In January 2016, Korean non-profit organization for disabled, 'we first.or.kr' nominated Yumi as a 'Monthly Story Winner' by the story covered the Biomedical Engineering education program in Korean Secondary School.

From May 2016, Yumi joined the education innovation organization 'FCN(Future Class Network)', and started another career as an education innovator. Her job is to collect diverse education innovation stories from all over the world. Recently she contributed to a Public TV program 'Future2030' by KBS as an international interviewer.
