Two women aged 87 and 59 suffered serious injuries after being struck in a road traffic collision on High Street in Queensbury, Bradford. Both pedestrians were taken to hospital. West Yorkshire Police attended after being called by ambulance services, while officers cordoned off the area and diverted traffic. A white Nissan was visible inside the cordon as evidence was gathered.

Keighley Gala returned with a parade through the town and an afternoon of performances and family activities at Cliffe Castle. Keighley Horticultural Society won the parade, followed by Keighley Sea Cadets and Dementia Friendly Keighley, while Gala Queen Lily Hopkins took part in an open-top bus ride. Keighley Town Council thanked the participants, volunteers, performers, sponsors and residents for supporting the event.
