Motorists are advised to plan for significant overnight, weekend, and long-term closures linked to the M3 Junction 9 improvement scheme near Winchester. Hampshire County Council leader Nick Adams-King highlighted that the National Highways project will affect several key local routes, including the M3, A34, and A33. Multiple northbound and southbound closures are scheduled through July and August, with a major long-term northbound slip road closure running from July 2026 until winter 2027. Drivers are urged to allow extra time and follow diversion routes where advised.
