How will Manchester Pride be different this year?
Manchester Pride will return over four days in 2026 under the new not-for-profit Manchester Village Pride, after the previous operator went into voluntary liquidation. The event will be more community-focused, with waived parade fees for LGBTQ+ charities and grassroots groups, while the Gay Village Party will require paid wristbands to fund security, performers, medical staff and cleaning. The programme includes performances by Cascada, Kate Nash, Nadine Coyle and Gareth Gates, a free family day, community stalls and a closing vigil organized by George House Trust. Road closures and public-transport disruption are expected across Manchester.
