Audi driver dies and woman fighting for life after police chase crash in West Midlands
A man driving a black Audi A3 died after failing to stop for Warwickshire Police and being pursued before colliding with a Ford Puma near Stratford-upon-Avon. The Ford’s driver, a woman in her 70s, suffered life-threatening injuries, while two other casualties were also taken to hospital. Warwickshire Police referred the incident to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which has opened an independent investigation into the circumstances preceding the crash.
