Cumbrian wheelchair rugby athlete Sarah Burrows is travelling to Kampala for two weeks to help Uganda establish its first wheelchair rugby tournament. The Penrith Pumas captain will run workshops, teach the rules, mentor players and organise games, while her club is donating a £5,000 wheelchair, medical supplies and other equipment. Burrows, who took up the sport four years ago, says wheelchair rugby creates equality and mutual respect among players with different disabilities.
