Stella Gollovena, 47, of no fixed address, has been charged with four counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place following a stabbing on Endell Street in Covent Garden. Four men, aged between 34 and 56, were taken to hospital with stab wounds but have since been discharged because their injuries were neither life-threatening nor life-changing. Gollovena was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court.

A journalist, Lydia Suffield, received a suspended 22‑week sentence for a prolonged stalking campaign targeting former chancellor George Osborne and his wife Thea Rogers. She sent false allegations to their associates, filed fabricated reports to the NSPCC, and mailed unsettling gifts for their children. The harassment escalated in the lead‑up to the couple’s 2023 wedding and caused significant distress. Judge Cutts described the stalking as persistent and sophisticated, imposing rehabilitation days, costs, and a restraining order while warning Suffield that any further offences could lead to immediate custody.
