'Lovely' mum collapses and dies in GP surgery after waiting days for appointment
A 66-year-old woman, Jaqueline Watkins, died after collapsing in the waiting room of Llanyravon Surgery in South Wales while attending a delayed GP appointment. An inquest opened at Gwent Coroner's Court heard that she had been unwell for days and her family believes there were missed opportunities in her care. A post-mortem examination did not identify a cause of death, and the full inquest is scheduled for next March.
