Rhyl RNLI has paid tribute to volunteer crew member Kyle Simpson, who died suddenly aged 26 after joining the station only a few months earlier. Colleagues remembered his infectious laugh, enthusiasm for training, assistance with station maintenance and involvement in crew activities. Flags at the station and lifeboat memorials were lowered to half-mast, while the RNLI expressed condolences to his family, friends and fellow crew members.
