Elmarie Kapunda

I’m a broadcast journalist, documentary producer and director with more than 12 years of experience across television, radio and film.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a producer, scriptwriter, reporter and prime-time news anchor, while also producing and directing documentaries and international productions. I’m passionate about telling stories that matter, developing strong programmes and using media to create meaningful conversations and civic engagement.

I’ve also had the privilege of mentoring young journalists and watching many of them grow into leaders within Namibia’s broadcasting industry.

I’m the founder and presenter of The One Circle Podcast, a space for honest conversations around parenthood, community and the village we need to raise the next generation.

For me, storytelling has always been about people, purpose and creating space for conversations that matter.
