Colls Have to Do It All Again in FA Cup After Barlick Draw
Atherton Collieries drew 2–2 with Barnoldswick Town in the FA Cup after coming from behind. Charlie Rowland-Whiteoak opened the scoring for the hosts, but Louis Potts equalized before halftime and Alex Doyle headed Colls ahead shortly after the restart. Barnoldswick leveled against the run of play, while Atherton felt Chinedu Uche should have been awarded a penalty. The teams were scheduled to replay the tie at Atherton’s Dreams2Reality Stadium, with the winner set to host Irlam in the next round.
