Sixteen-year-old Rhys Boardman, who has autism and ADHD, disappeared during a family holiday in Rhyl after becoming disoriented on a walk. He spent nearly three days travelling alone, sleeping rough and surviving on little food or water before reaching a police station in Birmingham, where officers found him dehydrated and exhausted and contacted his family. North Wales Police, specialist teams and hundreds of local volunteers searched beaches, woodland, marshes and abandoned buildings.
