Free Comic Book Day will take place on May 4, 2019, with 12 Gold Sponsor comics and 39 Silver Sponsor comics available at participating comic shops. The selection includes titles and previews from major publishers such as Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, Archie, and BOOM! Studios, spanning franchises including Avengers, Spider-Man, Stranger Things, Riverdale, Star Wars, Pokémon, and My Hero Academia. Participating stores may set their own limits, but each should provide at least one free comic; readers can use the event’s store locator to find nearby locations.

Google introduced browser shortcuts such as doc.new, sheet.new, slide.new, form.new and site.new, allowing users to create new files directly from their browser address bar without opening Google Drive first. The shortcuts streamline file creation, although the practical time savings may be modest.
