A former company director, Azlin Awang Chee, was charged in Kota Kinabalu with 10 counts of cheating related to a foreign currency investment scheme worth over RM450,000. Azlin pleaded not guilty to all charges, which involved deceiving 10 individuals into investing money with promises of profits. The alleged offences occurred between September 2020 and May 2021 in various locations including Penampang and Tuaran.
