A fallen tree blocking a popular footpath near Romsey remained uncleared for weeks despite reports to Hampshire County Council, frustrating regular walkers and cyclists. A wellness retreat at Headlands Farm in West Wellow has expanded with a new facility featuring a sauna, cold plunge and lakeside seating. Owners Alex and Alex Bennett developed the space to encourage relaxation and digital detoxing, complementing existing lodges, a padel court, a café and other amenities. The retreat continues to grow, with a new clubhouse nearing completion, reflecting the couple’s focus on organic produce and a farm‑to‑fork approach.
