Inquest opens after Basingstoke woman died in fall
An inquest has opened into the death of 58-year-old Jaqueline Tungate of Quilter Road, Basingstoke, who died at Southampton General Hospital after an unwitnessed fall at home. A preliminary post-mortem examination cited traumatic brain injury, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and diabetes as causes of death. Area coroner Jason Pegg opened the inquest at Winchester Coroner's Court and adjourned it until July 7, 2027.
