Surrey stalker jailed after threatening to kill woman
A Camberley man, Susil Pun, was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court to six years in prison after pleading guilty to stalking involving fear of violence and harassment. Police discovered threatening messages he had sent to a woman he falsely believed to be in a relationship with, including threats of death and sexual violence. The court issued a 15‑year Stalking Protection Order and a victim surcharge. Surrey Police emphasized the severity of Pun’s fixation and the importance of ongoing efforts to combat violence against women and girls, while the victim’s family described the lasting emotional impact on her.
